sound
check pictures turned out better.. i had a borrowed camera and another
one on the fritz.. so quality
is
not what i wanted.. but i'm happy to have captured the venue to share how
great these guys are..
pre-concert
is a concert in itself.. i asked before i showed up.. i don't think they
always can handle pre-crowd audiences.. it can take away from the concert..
and it i'm sure can get in the way.. but they accommodated my request...
maybe because it's been so long.. my goal was to not take up their time
at any part of the venue and i tried very, very hard to only approach
them when they seemed available.
each guitar and mic and drum.. and vocal gets a run-through.. i truly am amazed that they give so much detail to this to perfect the sounds effected by various location factors..
finally
brad has a moment to check his own guitars.. joe kidded him and said brad
do you want me to strum it for you..
brad
sprinted on stage in less then a blink.. i joked to them, doesn't he let
you guys play that electric baby.. i think one of them grinned a nope...
brad
looks really tired.. and he probably is.. but during the concert, somehow,
someway they pull off energy levels that make it seem they just got up
from a restful sleep and are ready for a marathon..
catching him before the show to sign a "few things"..
