There are
somethings you pray in your prayers
You can't
sing in your songs
Like the
dreams that lovers share
When their
resting in the promise
Of a love
that lasts
Though
it leads them on
To walk
a steeper path
So sometimes
you pray
And sometimes
you sing
And when
you love
You thank
the Lord for everything
Chorus
Yeah when
you love, you are gonna to find peace
Yeah when
you love, you'll have a new song to sing
Yeah when
you love, you are gonna break free
From the
world and your heart will rise above
When you
love
And there's
a rest you find in work
You can't
get out of sleep
There's
a healing that may hurt
There's
a war that must be waged for peace
It don't
come ready made
And if
you wanna be free
You must
become a slave
So sometimes
you work
And sometimes
your rest
And when
you love it all works out for the best
Chorus
So times
will always be good
Even when
times get hard
And when
you love you get to thank the Lord
Chorus (twice)
And it goes
on and on and on and on.and on and on...
When you
love
When you
love
It goes
on and on and on and on and on...
When you
love
It goes
on and on and on and on and on......

From Mitch:
This is
my version of the Rich Mullins song "When You Love" that he recorded on
his second album. Rich and I had talked about rewriting and reworking the
song and putting it on my first record. We never got around to doing that.
But, about six months after the wreck, I went ahead and did it. I loved
the lyric and the overall sentiment of the song and I added a Chorus and
a bridge. I think the song is saying: "our loving, as God created us to
love, is the ultimate. Loving seems like such a simple act, yet when we
love, miracles happen.
