Review of  Broken the Band Songs:

Song: Live Again

From the start, the lead singer, Jared Brown electrifies us with astonishing sounds.   Powerful impact  on vocals are delivered to our souls; pitched to perfection.  The musical arrangements on this ballad are well crafted.  Female vocals are complementary.  The choice of musical instruments make this a truly enjoyable song.  I particularly like the flute.  Lyrics are embracing and this is a song you will enjoy listening to repeatedly.

The Lyrics:

A part of me would be reborn
In the fury of this raging storm
To live again, and grow within
In this life were all living

Song:  Satellite

This band works well together, and this ballad is a reflection  of their talents.  Each musical instrument complements the whole sound.   I cranked this song at full volume to try and find a flaw.  It's not there.   Jared is simply amazing.  This song could easily be homed on a song-track for a movie.  The piano and elctric guitar track are especially outstanding.

The Lyrics:

Im gonna make it that high
Gonna see Jesus when I die
Gonna see it from heavens eyes
When I look down

Song:  My love

Upbeat tempo arrangement, rich with the vocals of Jared.  You can feel the energy and fun they had when they recorded this song.  Toe tappin' and soul sing-along for the audience to enjoy.    This song is a reflection of how each track compliments the whole project.   This would be  a great wedding party song.  It would melt any womans heart to hear.

The Lyrics:

I can’t walk on water, and I can’t part the sea
But at the end of the aisle you walked
There was one thing waiting
My Love

Song: Imagine Peace

Picture painting done wonderfully by the elegant lyrics.    Musical arrangement is river smooth.  Jared delivers this from his soul, and the offering  is exhilarating.  Spin this on myspace, and then go buy a copy.

The Lyrics:

It's like a Kansas night
Like a child sleeping
a river running through the pines
imagine that sight

Song:  Stained by Grace

This song exhibits  growth of the band.  The lyrics are mastered  beautifully, and stand on their own as soul  art.  Authenticity and passionate acoustical delivery are gifted to listeners.

The Lyrics:

Devastations everywhere
Broken pieces hearts torn
With every breath you are there
Shattered lives can be reborn

Song:  Rules:

Your given an offering of mellow acoustics blended with  Jared's vocal talents, that again make anything sound great.  He could sing kitty litter commercials, and you would buy a cat.  No seriously, it is a very dynamic sound that he delivers on all of his projects.  This song is a story about a road his life took one night, watching a band of friends play.    Enjoyable lyrics.. good solid musical arrangement.

The Lyrics:

Oh where did time go
Did you see it pass me by

Im only flesh, created to fail
As much as I try, I cant trump the maker
So dont ignore, that Im trying and even in this skin
Im lovin the best I can

Song:  Sing to Me:

Exquisite blend of lyrics and music.  This song knits the theme of passion for walking with and listening to Jesus.. one on one... expressing every Christian's dream..  listen and enjoy.

The Lyrics:

What would it feel like, if he walked with me
would time stand still, would it set me free
Would we step in time, feel as one. Would it
be like I was walking with God's only Son, if he walked with me

Song:  Broken:

Edgy, flowing ballad  with another diverse and unexpected joy exhibited in the artist's songwriting skills.   Vocals are delivered with self-assurance  and varied; all in a good way.  There is a jazzed tempo that energizes the message.  Impressively produced song that will be a favorite for many.

The Lyrics:

Torn and shattered, on the ground
Try to get back up, get thrown right down
A million rusty pennies, on the ground
Not much worth, until there found

Song:  Angel:

Angel has a chorus that sounds like a movie track.    Engaging result are achieved on this ballad.  It's one of the songs that needs to be re-played to get the full effects.

The Lyrics:

We all get down in life, we’ve all had hard time
Then a stranger drops a smile
And it gets us down the road, another mile
It seems to happen at just the right time
When life has you down and it’s given you a real hard ride.
I wonder could it be, an angel

Song:  Seeker

There is a plethora  of things to say about this song.  Refreshingly creative spark s are delivered.  It has unstrained and confident lyrics, with a wonderful sound track instrumentally delivered.

The Lyrics:

The harvest is plenty,
workers are few
He sends us out like lambs,
in the midst of wolves
To share the love he gives,
and the words of truth

 Song:  Just as I Am*

A song  of the year winner.  Not because of the great lyrics.  Not because of the great music arrangement.  Just because it is packaged with such soul that could of only been inspired by his beloved Lord.  What a blessed share.  This song was written by his close friend: Micahel Aukofer*.  Jared bares his soul completely on the delivery of this song.  Seing a soul this revealed is such a gift, humbly singing to his Lord.

The Lyrics:

Just as I am, broken down, just as I have been, tossed around
Your name alone, strengthens me
And gives me the faith and the courage to know
I am loved now, just as I am, just as I am

 Song: Let Them See

A powerful, personal anthem to His Lord.  Lyrics we can all embrace.   Consistently excellence is delivered on this collection of songs by Jared Brown and his band.

The Lyrics:

The beauty of your grace
And the love of your heart
Give me the strength
To do my part
The beauty of your grace
And the love of your heart
Give me the strength
To do my part
And let them see the love, oh let them see the love, in me….
